As a first-year Doctor of Pharmacy student at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Aicha advocates for women's rights and global women's health through impactful projects, including a food bank in Senegal and volunteering abroad to support low-income families, especially single mothers. She is also fluent in French, English, Spanish, Wolof, and able to read Arabic. Her diverse skills reflect a commitment to healthcare policy and entrepreneurship as she aspires to specialize as an emergency pharmacist in obstetric and neonatal care within the hospital setting.
Sophie is an aspiring physician, involved in many non-profit endeavors, and starting this fall at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her attentiveness and enthusiasm is already impressionable. She wants to attend Harvard Medical School one day too, and we know she has it in her to be that guiding light for others. She enjoys nature and a runner too. Sophie has already assisted in plant growth studies with DST and will be our first team member to present at future conferences with NASA.
After winning the semi-final event against 10 other companies, we were invited as a National finalist to their premier event in 2021 to make a 15 minute pitch.
At DST, we are passionate about harnessing the power of dual-purpose biotechnology to transform the world. This enriching experience with NASA harnessed the entrepreneur within and into the great beyond!
